Shirley Hua graduated from the International Academy of Design & Technology (Toronto Canada) with a degree in Interior Design. After 6 years of mentorship at one of the most prestigious trade showrooms, she made a move in August 2013 to explore and pursue her ambitions within the San Francisco Bay Area.
Shirley offers full scale design services and is proficient in AutoCAD. She enjoys challenging spaces and projects that push the creative envelope yet honor the timelessness of classic designs.
“I believe that people know what they like, the tough part is actually putting it together functionally and beautifully. I love working with clients to create an environment and style that reflects who they are and what they love.”
Interior Designer, Allied ASID
Carol is a San Francisco/Bay Area native and can’t imagine calling anywhere else home. She graduated from San Francisco State University with a B.A. in Liberal Studies and completed a program in Interior Design at Canada College in Redwood City. She is currently working on completing a certificate in Kitchen and Bath Design.
Her love for Interior Design grew from growing up with a family owned Structural Engineering Firm. Carol likes to think of herself as a design “guide”. “My objective is the help people create spaces that are a reflection of what they are passionate about.” Helping a client realize their own style by discovering what holds meaning and beauty to them is what drives her love of design. Whether incorporating treasured family heirlooms with more contemporary pieces or creating an entirely new space from the beginning, the objective is the same, to design in partnership with the client to create a space that is uniquely them.
Also known as the “Queen of Accessories”, is an Interior Decorator and Landscape Designer.
After graduating from Cal Poly SLO in Environmental Horticulture she landed a great job selling trees to Landscape Architects, Builders and Contractors. The extent of creative and practical knowledge learned was vast but her favorite aspect was design.
Moving to Northern California 20 years ago with a young family she began designing landscapes, working at Roger Reynolds Nursery, then William Sonoma Home and finally Brick Monkey.
Thirty plus years later she still loves transforming a yard or house into a place of beauty. Her philosophy she imparts ” Buy what you love and there will always be a place for it in your home or garden” guarantees your home to be a reflection of your personality.
